This is what I came out as in the book quiz.

Hrrmm..I came out as ‘Siddhartha’ by Hermann Hesse. Never read it and the comment “You simply don’t know what to believe, but you’re willing to try anything once” is partly true, although I’ve actually tried very little. “This makes you an individualist of the highest order, but also really lonely.” Wow. To be honest, I found the questions a bit hard to answer and some of my responses were a bit ,er, random. Yours, nonplussed…

Luke, yes, I choose to read it as a sign, as an encouraging vindication of my current k-tactix. Breakout from Human OS has been achieved! It’s Human Security which is by its very nature defensive (its default strategy when faced with break-outs is to force them into equivalence with breakdowns: ‘you need help’, come back to the cosy hearth of familiar sentimental neurosis, you shouldn’t be out there!’
Yes, we neuorobots are pyschotics who lack ‘ordinary’ human emotional response, who find Human OS unlivable.
We want Out.

ok, engagement, good.
as you know full well i approve of going ‘out there’, i encourage it, but its a question of control.
when you lose control its time to come back and regroup.
its a drug, and like drugs you take it, you enjoy it, you come back, you do it again. you don’t try to stay drugged up the whole time, and you don’t mistake drugged reality for the only reality. nor do you mistake it for an illusion/delusion.
