I’ve just thought who that twat from Scissor Sisters reminds me of. OK, we’ve established that he sounds like Leo Sayer — but he looks like no-one so much as Rik from the Young Ones. Check it!

    Funny you should say that: I made the same observation when I first saw them play live last summer.
    He’s anything but a twat, though. The five members of the SS are the most pleasant / grounded / unassuming people you could wish to meet.

    Mike, I know I’m being harsh; it’s just his persona in the video — preening smug NY PoMo — that gets my back up. That, and the investment made in them in the blogosphere and elsewhere.
    Am I to take it from this that you agree that he sounds like Leo Sayer?
    What do you think of Chris Eccleston getting the Dr Who gig btw?
