LINX REMIX

You might have noticed that I’ve rearranged the links on the sidebar into (no doubt spurious) categories. This largely for my own benefit; as it was, I got lost and ended up furiously scrolling up and down when looking for a link.
If either
(a) your link has got lost in the re-arrangement
(b) you violently object to my categorization of your site
let me know …
pop philosophy! That’s quite good, actually. Is it only something that girls do tho? boys write about music and girls philosophy…?! Well, if that’s the way it turns out, it’s going to be an interesting 21st century, no?
The gender alignment is just the way it’s turned out at the moment – I liked pop philosophy for yours, Siobhan and Catherine’s blogs coz it’s sufficiently ambiguous to suggest some musical coverage too… Maybe a boy will turn up who deserves to enter your company…
There’s something wrong with my computer and I can’t seem to reply to your Coil thing so I’ll put it here instead. I’d recommend Love’s Secret Domain, Musick vols 1 &2 (both would be in my hypothetical British top 100) and also Live4 (released last year – I think Amazon have got some copies). This last one has got a version of Amethyst Decievers which I think is their best track. AS i think someone pointed out, Penman’s interview w. John Balance in the Wire, 2000 is a great overview of their concerns and influences (BTW what HAS happened to the great Penman? SUCH a loss…)
Penman last sighted on the contributors list for, um, the Observer Music Magazine Top 100 British Albums…
