i recently bought a book “italy: sea to sky” which is great. its organized by region, and has some cool macro photography of different foods. by the way do you watch iron chef? i only recently discovered it, but it is amazing.
Not really a cooking site per se, but Jill Duplex (sp?) has regular online recipes at The Times – her pork chops in maple syrup and paprika is particularly good (and dead easy).

Best site that I’ve found for recipes is the BBC site. It’s got loads of good recipes, I pilfer from it all the time.
